Paver block hardener is a liquid chemical additive used in concrete or cement mix to:
Increase strength
Improve surface hardness
Reduce cracks
Improve water resistance
Improve durability
It is commonly used for:
Paver blocks
Tiles
Interlocking blocks
Concrete flooring
For paver blocks, a common mix ratio is:
1 part Cement
2 parts Sand
3 parts Aggregate (6mm or 10mm)
Water as required
Add hardener to the mixing water
Typical dosage:
5 ml to 10 ml per kg of cement
(Check manufacturer instructions for exact dosage)
Example:
If using 50 kg cement →
Use 250 ml to 500 ml hardener
Mix the hardener in water first, then add to dry mix.
✅ Step 3: Mixing ProcessMix cement + sand + aggregate properly (dry mix)
Mix hardener with water
Add liquid slowly while mixing
Mix until semi-dry (not too wet)
Fill moulds and vibrate properly
Keep paver blocks for 24 hours in mould
Remove mould
Water cure for 7–14 days
Proper curing increases strength
✔ Do not add extra water
✔ Do not overdose hardener
✔ Use good quality cement
✔ Proper vibration is very important
✔ Proper curing gives best strength
If you tell me:
Are you making paver blocks manually or with machine?
What thickness paver? (60mm / 80mm / 100mm?)
I can give you a more exact formula 👍
